We are pleased to bring you the eighth edition of BioConnect Symposium which will be organized in conjunction with the International Biotechnology Symposium (IBS) on August 16th, 2018 at Palais des Congrès. Hosted by student leaders of McGill University's renowned Master of Science in Biotechnology program, the symposium serves as a valuable resource to connect highly qualified, skilled researchers, industry leaders, and entrepreneurs.
Attending BioConnect 2018 will be an amazing opportunity to learn about the emerging career paths and the future direction of the biotechnology from industrial and academic leaders. The Genome Project-write (GP-write) is an open, international research project led by a multi-disciplinary group of scientific leaders who will oversee a reduction in the costs of engineering and testing large genomes in cell lines more than 1,000-fold within ten years.
Canadian researchers have been actively contributing in the organizational stages of this international initiative, and they have now started contemplating Canada's potential contributions to this important project.
Join the discussion at GP-Write Canada Workshop on August 13-14, 2018 in Montreal, QC to help identify the Canadian Genomics community's capacities, interests and help establish priorities for participation in the global project.
